This evocative photograph captures the quintessential charm of the Junction Inn, a beloved public house situated in the heart of Burgess Hill, Sussex. The image, taken from the left side, reveals the pub's inviting facade with its distinctive red-tiled roof, ornate brickwork, and large, arched windows. The Junction Inn was a cherished gathering place for the local community, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere where friends and neighbors could connect over a pint of fine Sussex ale. Sadly, as of July 2018, the Junction Inn, located at RH15 0HP, Burgess Hill, Sussex, no longer stands. The pub closed its doors around 2009 and was later the unfortunate victim of a fire. In its place, a Co-op store now occupies the site, a poignant reminder of the once-thriving watering hole.
