Built as a Northrop F-89D-70-NO Scorpion and upgraded to F-89J standard with facility for carrying the Douglas MB-1 Genie, air-air un-guided missile with nuclear warhead. (The Douglas AIR-2 Genie (previous designation MB-1) was an unguided air-to-air rocket with a 1.5 kt W25 nuclear warhead.) Date: circa 1960
