In September 1944, the Germans, in a brutal act of destruction, dynamited the Kierbedzia Bridge, along with numerous other structures in Warsaw, as part of their scorched earth policy. Today, the Kierbedzia Bridge stands rebuilt, a testament to the resilience and determination of the Polish people. The bridge, along with the rest of Warsaw, has been painstakingly restored, allowing future generations to appreciate the beauty and history of this remarkable city.
