Supermarine 508, VX136: A Pioneering Flight into the Realms of Aviation History This photograph showcases the iconic Supermarine 508, registration number VX136, a historic aircraft that played a pivotal role in the development of British aviation. The Supermarine 508 was a two-seat, single-engine, monoplane transport aircraft, designed and manufactured by the Supermarine Aviation Works, a subsidiary of Vickers-Armstrongs, in the late 1930s.
