Glasgow Electric, BR (ScR) poster, c 1960s. Poster produced for British Railways (BR) Scottish Region (SR) showing a Glasgow electric locomotive service, bound for Helensburgh. Artwork by Terence Cuneo (1907-1996). Cuneo trained at the Slade and Chelsea schools of art in London and from the 1940s onwards was commissioned to produced artwork for railway posters. Cuneo was also a prolific painter of portraits, ceremonial and military subjects. Printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd, London and Dunstable
